Mrs. Menjivar is committed to providing students with the highest quality education. With extensive experience in a variety of roles, including state regulator, middle school administrator, classroom teacher, and state-wide teacher mentor, she has a deep understanding of what it takes to create effective learning environments. She holds a postgraduate professional teaching license with endorsements in Administration and Supervision (PreK-12), English as a Second Language (PreK-12), and Special Education, General Curriculum (K-12). With more than 17 years of experience in regulatory compliance and investigations, she has developed expertise in auditing and overseeing compliance-related activities.
Her academic credentials include a Master of Science in Education, specializing in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Longwood University. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Bryant and Stratton College and has completed special education certification coursework for teacher licensure at the University of Virginia. Additionally, with a background in psychology, she has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Effective Practices in Community Supervision (EPICS) through the University of Cincinnati Corrections Institute.
