Young Innovators Club 

Read. Think. Create. Lead.

CIM’s Young Innovators Club helps students grow into confident thinkers, communicators, and future leaders through engaging literacy and innovation experiences.

Students build skills through weekly Book & Brew Nights and monthly Saturday Socials in a fun, supportive environment.

Book & Brew Nights (Weekly)

Students explore engaging books and stories in a relaxed, social setting designed to spark curiosity and discussion.

Students will:

  • Build reading comprehension and vocabulary

  • Strengthen writing and communication skills

  • Participate in guided discussions

  • Complete creative writing activities

  • Engage in innovation-based thinking challenges

📌 Note: A book is required. Families may purchase the selected book or pay a small fee if provided by the program. All costs are shared in advance.

Monthly Saturday Socials

Hands-on experiences where students build leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through interactive activities and community experiences.

Includes:

  • STEM and innovation challenges

  • Creative problem-solving activities

  • Leadership and teamwork exercises

  • Group and community-based experiences

Program Details

  • Ages: 12–15 (middle & early high school students)

  • Enrollment: Limited to 16 students

  • Location: 200 E. Nine Mile Road, Suite D, Highland Springs, VA

  • Schedule: Weekly Book & Brew Nights (Thursdays at 6pm) + Monthly Saturday Socials

Offered in seasonal sessions. This year's schedule is as follows:

Summer Launch Session: June – August

June 18, 2026 – August 8, 2026

Fall Session: October – December

October 22, 2026 – December 17, 2026

Spring Session: February – April

February 18, 2027 – April 17, 2027

Families receive access to a private program communication page after enrollment.

ℹ️ Important Information

Young Innovators Club is a free enrichment program designed to support student growth in reading, communication, and leadership skills.

There is no enrollment fee to join the program. A book is required for Book & Brew Nights and may be purchased by families or provided by the program for a small fee.

Some optional activities, such as field trips or special experiences, may include additional costs. All costs will always be communicated in advance, and participation in paid activities is optional.
